Since 2019, our owners Chad Hornik and Jeff Ottaviano, have collaborated with renowned winemakers in the US and abroad, establishing a SENSE OF PLACE while selecting the regions where the grapes are VARIETALLY CORRECT. By choosing winemakers who are world-class and maintaining a diverse portfolio, 7 Lady Vineyards curates wines that appeal to all palates. Currently, the 7LV portfolio features: Traditional Method Sparkling Wine, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Grigio from Moldova; Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Willamette Valley, Oregon; Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Napa Valley, California; Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina; and Meritage, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, Albariño, and Viognier from Virginia.

Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Our 2019 Sauvignon Blanc has bright minerality and aromatic expressions like you would find with an old world Sancerre versus the new world grapefruit bombs from New Zealand.  This Sauvignon Blanc is less about grapefruit and aggressive acidity, but more focused on floral citrus and gentle acidity. Light and refreshing with lots of aromatic characters. Enjoy with light poultry and fresh seafood.

Our 2019 Pinot Grigio is fermented in temperature controlled stainless tanks. The beautiful color is bright yellow and greenish tints. The nose is full of complex aromas with succulent notes of pears, white nectarines supplemented by floral nuances. This Pinot Grigio is one of the most drinkable food loving white wines in the world.

Brut Reserve

​​Our Seven Lady Vineyards Brut Reserve is a Moldovan sparkling wine made from 90% Feteasca Alba and 10% Muscat in the Charmat method. It has a bright and clear golden hue and aromas of green apple, toast and hazelnut. In the mouth, Its fine bubbles and refreshing acidity add a crispness that lingers on the tongue. This wine is perfect for any celebration or special occasion, and it pairs well with seafood, poultry, and light desserts.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

This Cabernet Sauvignon, made in partnership with Reynolds Family Winery, is a complex Napa Valley wine. The nose has a rich bouquet of dark cherries, cassis, blackberries, vanilla, and tobacco. The palate is full-bodied and rich, with velvety texture and well-structured tannins. Flavors of ripe black fruits dominate, with hints of espresso, dark chocolate, and black pepper that add spiciness. The wine has a well-balanced acidity, contributing to the depth and complexity. The finish is long and lingering. This refined wine pairs well with grilled steak, lamb chops, or roasted vegetables. It can also be enjoyed on its own, revealing its rich flavors and aromas.

The 2020 Chardonnay from 7 Lady Vineyards is a beautifully crafted and balanced wine with a delicate bouquet of freshly baked bread, green apple, and a hint of honey, intermingled with notes of lemon zest and a touch of vanilla. The 2019 Cabernet Franc by 7 Lady Vineyards and Reynolds Family Winery is a stunning example of this overlooked varietal. It has a complex bouquet of red fruits, vanilla, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with lively acidity and structured tannins. The bright red fruit dominates, with hints of black pepper and earthiness adding depth. Our 2017 Chardonnay made in collaboration with Michael Shaps offers a delightful bouquet of citrus, green apple, and honeydew melon, with hints of vanilla and a subtle toasty oak note. On the palate, it's bright and crisp, with vibrant acidity that complements rich flavors of ripe apple, pear, and tropical fruit. The oak influence adds layers of complexity, with flavors of vanilla, spice, and toasted nuts, leading to a long and satisfying finish. Pair this Chardonnay with seafood, shellfish, poultry, pork, creamy pasta dishes, and risotto. It's a beautifully crafted wine that showcases Virginia's terroir and winemaking expertise.

Brut Rosé

The 7 Lady Vineyards Brut Rosé, a blend of Feteasca Alba and Merlot grapes from Cricova, Moldova, is a delightfully refreshing and crisp wine. On the nose, it's fresh with delicate aromas of red berries, citrus fruit, and floral notes. The lively bubbles reveal a bright acidity balanced by subtle sweetness, and juicy strawberries, raspberries, and tangy grapefruit flavors followed by hints of minerality and almond add depth to the wine. Petit Manseng 2017

7 Lady Vineyards 2017 Petite Manseng in collaboration with Michael Shaps is an excellent example of this French varietal from Virginia's Monticello AVA. Its aroma is a blend of honeyed apricot, ripe peach, and citrus zest, with a subtle hint of vanilla and baking spices. The taste is full-bodied and luscious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, complemented by tropical fruit, golden raisins, honey, toasted nuts, and a mineral-driven finish. It pairs well with spicy Asian dishes, salty cheeses, and fruity desserts, and showcases Virginia's terroir and winemaking expertise.

Cabernet Franc 2022

7 Lady Estate Cabernet Franc from our South Block vineyard is a prime example of Virginia's quality winemaking. Its rich and complex nose features dark fruit, blackcurrant, and black cherry aromas with hints of vanilla and spice. The full-bodied and velvety palate is dominated by ripe fruit flavors with well-integrated tannins and notes of black pepper and tobacco adding complexity. Viognier 2022

7 Lady Vineyards' Viognier, craftedin tandem with winemaker Ben Jordan from Commonwealth Crush, showcases the aromatic qualities of this grape variety. The nose is intensely floral with honeysuckle and jasmine, along with bright citrus notes of lemon and orange zest. Hints of peach and apricot add complexity. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with a silky texture and refreshing acidity. Flavors of citrus, ripe peach, and nectarine dominate, with hints of tropical fruit. The long finish has a touch of minerality. Overall, this well-crafted Viognier pairs well with seafood and spicy Asian cuisine. It can be enjoyed now or cellared for a few years.

7 Lady’s 2022 Summer Red, an excellent blend of Virginia's Merlot, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, and Petit Manseng, is intended to be served chilled on a hot summers day. The aroma of this blend is complex, with a mix of black cherry, cassis, and plum fruit, along with subtle notes of vanilla, toast, and cedar. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with a smooth and silky texture. The flavors of black cherry and plum are prominent, along with a subtle herbal note of mint. It has a wonderful complexity of aromas and flavors, making it a great choice for pairing with light hors d'oeuvre  such as charcuterie boards, caprese skewers, or shrimp ceviche
